About Us
Welcome to our campus page. We’re glad you are here. We’re grateful you took the time to visit, and hope to see you soon at our weekend services. The Church is more than an event or a building, we are the body of Christ. Our church is made up of flawed, broken, imperfect humans who require grace daily. On our own we are hopeless; through the mercy, love and sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ, we have found a Great Hope.
You may have noticed that our church has multiple locations. While each campus has its own unique characteristics, The Chapel is one church with a single desire: We are committed to seeing every person believing in Jesus, belonging to family, becoming a disciple, and building his kingdom. We want to invite you to come see this in action and join us in sharing the love of Christ.
What should I wear?
Wear what makes you comfortable. We invite you to come as you. You’ll see anything from jeans & t-shirts to full suits. No matter what, we welcome you.
When should I arrive?
Generally, 10 minutes early will give you plenty of time to park, come in, and find a seat before service starts. For parents with children, arriving 15 minutes before service is a good idea.
Where should I park?
There are multiple Chapel parking lots directly next to our building on Chapel Drive between Buchtel Avenue and W. Market Street. You may also park in one of two lots on Fir Hill -- the paved lot next to our building or the gravel lot across the street.

Ministries
Nursery & Preschool
Our Nursery & Preschool area gives your child a first impression of our Heavenly Father and the wonder of His love. We strive for it to be a vibrant, exciting place where we support you as parents in introducing your children to the One who made them. During the weekend service, we experience the love of Jesus and celebrate Him in many different forms - we sing, we teach the Bible, we play, and we snack. In all our activities, we seek to highlight these basic gospel truths: God is good, God made everything, God loves us, God wants to be with us, and Jesus rescued us.
Our volunteers are all background checked and required to attend several training sessions each year, with your child’s security and well-being as a focus. We do ask that children be symptom-free and no longer contagious with illness for 24 hours to help us protect the health of our little ones. Please let us know of any conditions, allergies, or medical needs that may apply to your child.
For more information about our Nursery & Preschool ministry, contact Karen Smith.
Meeting Time
Sundays: 9am & 10:40am
Check-In
Our check-in process for children is located in the Buchtel Lobby. Any of our greeters can show you the way. We use ID tags for your child's security and your peace of mind. Here's how the ID tags work:
- Check-in: At check-in, you and your child(ren) will receive matching ID tags, unique to you and your visit.
- Parent Paging: If we need to contact you during a service we will text your provided cell phone number.
- Pick-up: You must present your ID tag before we release your child.
For added security, the doors in the Family Ministry hallways will be locked 20 minutes after each service starts and will reopen at the conclusion of each service.

Elementary
Our Elementary area is designed to be an interactive and engaging place where kids can grow together as they learn more about how they are part of God’s Story. We celebrate the glory of God through worship, Bible stories, memorization, and play. Our desire is to partner with parents in discipling their children and growing these faithful practices: studying the Bible, applying Truth, sharing our Hope, worshiping with our lives, and prayer.

Middle School (6th-8th Grade)
Our Middle School Ministry seeks to further develop the foundation of our students’ faith in the work of Christ. We do this by focusing on our identity and purpose in Jesus Christ and living actively in gospel community. Students in middle school will begin to experience what it is like to belong to a church community through our small groups. Our desire is to support parents as they walk with their students in pressing deeper into their personal faith through community with their friends, their mentors and above all, God.
Small Groups exist to create a safe place for students to process the large group teaching together and talk through what it looks like to be transformed by God. Groups are typically divided by grade and typically have 10-14 students paired with at least two adult leaders who have been screened and trained.
For more information about our Middle School Ministry, contact Nate Brawn.

High School (9th-12th Grade)
Our High School Ministry looks to partner with parents in the continued discipleship of their high schoolers. We seek for our students to grow in their personal faith by exploring these themes from a gospel-centered perspective: identity, community, freedom and discipleship. Our large group gathering and small groups take place on Sunday night.

Adults
Following Jesus and becoming more like Him is a lifelong journey. Our church is full of adult men and women who need the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ to wash over our pain, sorrow, rough edges, and yes, our sin too. That’s right. We don’t have it figured out. The good news is, God does.
Our Adults Ministry offers many ways for you to explore the love of Christ and the joy of serving him. We come from all walks of life, generations, backgrounds, and cultures. Our hope for the men and women of our church is to grow in Christ by meeting together in fellowship, serving each other, and celebrating the glory of God.
Small Groups: Adult Bible Fellowships
ABF groups are how we as a church actively practice lives centered on Jesus Christ, shared in community. Our groups are full of imperfect people seeking to grow in how we might serve and love each other. In the face of frequent rejection, Christ modeled for us what it looks like to consider others over ourselves. We aim to follow his lead. Much like the early church, we devote our ABF time together to teaching, fellowship, service, and prayer.
Join a Group
