Celebrating God’s Faithfulness

January 2024 marks 90 years of ministry for The Chapel here in Akron! We are so blessed to have a legacy of men and women whose lives have been marked by the gospel – living to know the Lord and to make Him known. To honor God for all He’s done here, 2024 will be a year of celebration with special guests, music, displays, photo booths, videos and more.

As we look back on our humble beginnings, God’s hand of protection and provision, and the wonderful ways He has worked among us through the years, we can’t help but give thanks.

On Sunday, Jan. 21, we kicked off the celebration with a 90th Anniversary video and some special songs remembering our beginnings, founding pastors and the saints that went before us. We’ve got more special programming planned for spring, summer and fall.
